OF ELECTION AND REGISTRATION

FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION ON

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2026

ELECTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

VOTING PRECINCT LOCATION:  Leroy Township Hall – 1685 N M-52, Webberville, MI.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the qualified electors will be voting on the following:

PARTISAN SECTION

STATE: Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General.

CONGRESSIONAL: United States Senator, Representative in Congress 7th District.

LEGISLATIVE: State Senator 22nd District, Representative in State Legislature 73rd District.

STATE BOARDS: Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University.

NONPARTISAN SECTION

JUDICIAL: Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals 4th District Incumbent Position, Judge of Circuit Court 30th Circuit Incumbent Position 6 Year Term, Judge of Circuit Court 30th Circuit Incumbent Position Partial Term Ending 01/01/2029, Judge of Probate Court Ingham County Incumbent Position, Judge of District Court 55th District Incumbent Position.

PROPOSAL SECTION

PROPOSAL 2026-1 

A proposal to convene a constitutional convention for the purpose of drafting a general revision of the state constitution.

PROPOSAL 2026-2

A proposal to amend the state constitution to require citizenship verification for all registered voters, require showing a document proving citizenship to register to vote, and to change photo ID requirements for voting.

REGISTRATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of their Township Clerk, the office of the County Clerk, a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency.  Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to their Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com,

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is MONDAY OCTOBER 19, 2026.

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the elector’s Township Clerk’s office at the following times:

  • REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • EARLY VOTING: October 24-November 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • MONDAY BEFORE ELECTION: November 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • ELECTION DAY: Tuesday November 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS will be available after September 24th for the election; registered voters may contact their local Township Clerk to obtain an absentee voter application and ballot.

To comply with Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format using the VAT (Voter Assist Terminal). Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting their Township Clerk in advance of the election.  All polling locations are Accessible for voters with disabilities.
